Colburn Village Hall is situated on Colburn Lane, next to Colburn Community Primary School and has always been run by a board of Voluntary Trustee’s. The land was donated by the D’arcy Hildyard family from Colburn Hall the Village Hall was a community led project and was built in 1956 by the residents of Colburn. There was a weekly collection of approximately 1 shilling a week until the Hall was built. All work carried out was by local craftsman and people of Colburn.
Today Colburn Village Hall offers a variety of activities for all ages throughout the week and is also available for private hire.
Facilities include a Main Hall with disabled access and a stage also newly refurbished toilets and designated disabled toilet. Back Room with separate entrance and toilets suitable for meetings or small groups both rooms have access to a newly fully fitted kitchen. Colburn Village Hall also has its own car park suitable for approximately 20 cars.
